The Golden Domes of Russia: Suzdal - Vladimir

Day 1. Suzdal

Arrival to Suzdal - the unique open-air museum with magnificent monuments of the Russian stone and wooden architecture of XIII - XVIII centuries, with rich icon and applied art collection, bell music concerts. Guests will be welcomed with bread and salt and served with a stoup of the Russian vodka. Accommodation at the "Pokrovsky Monastery" Hotel (or Tourcenter "Rizalit"). Gala dinner by candle-light at "Trapeznaya" restaurant to the Russian gusli accompaniment.

Day 2. Suzdal

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Suzdal city tour. You will see Suzdal Kremlin, the Cross Chambers, Spaso-Ephimievsky Monastery, Saviour's Transfiguration cathedral. Lunch in "Trapeznaya" restaurant, tasting of 5 different jams with the famous Russian Blini. Free time for the rest and picture taking. Dinner - the Russian pickled products with tasting of 5 sorts of vodka in "Traktir" restaurant with folklore program.

Optional - sauna (with font basin) in Pokrovsky Monastery.

Day 3. Vladimir

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Tour of Vladimir. You will see the masterpieces of the Russian architecture of XII century - the Golden Gates, the Assumption and St. Demetrius Cathedrals, expositions "Nobility", "the Russian House". Herbal tea in "Traktir" restaurant. Folk show in Russian National costumes. Dinner at the restaurant "At the Golden Gates" to the string quartet accompaniment. Departure for Moscow.
