Russia Golden Ring Tours

The ancient towns of the Golden Ring, built between the 11th and 17th centuries, are the cradle of Russian culture. During Russia`s early history, the two most important cities were Kiev in the sounth and Novgorod in the north. They were both situated in what is now western Russia and lay along important commerce routes to the Black and Baltic seas. The settlemets that sprang up along the trade routes between these cities prospered and grew into large towns of major political and religious importance. From the 11th to 15th centuries, the towns of Rostov, Yaroslavl, Vladimir and Suzdal became capitals of the northern principalities, and Sergiev Posad served as the centre of Russian Orthodoxy. In the 12th century Moscow was established as a small protective outpost of the Rostov-Suzdal principality. By the 16th century Moscow had grown so big and affluent that it was named the capital of the Russian Empire. the prominent towns that lay in a circle to the northeastog Moscow became known as the Golden Ring. Each town is a living chronicle documenting many centuries in the history of old Russia.

Our company specializes in tours to the Colden Ring towns and extends across almost all the towns on the Golden Ring route. You will never be dissapointed by choosing any the tours listed below during which we will offer you individual driver and guide services and accommodation at the best hotels on the route.
