Russia Travel Group Payment Policy

To reserve your tour and lock in the final price, you will be required to make a deposit. We will require that you pay either a flat rate or a percentage of your final fare. After you have placed a deposit to guarantee your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date. Additions and subtractions to your tour will be accounted for in your final invoice. Depending on the travel services selected, the final payment date can be from 20 to 120 days before departure. If you book your tour within the final payment period, you will be required to pay in full in order to secure your booking. After payment for a tour is done, the customer will receive within a 24 – hour period a faxed receipt of payment as well as a voucher issued by the company for the services to be paid in accordance with the tour purchased. When specifically requested by the client, vouchers or receipts can be sent via FedEx, UPS or DHL.

Prices indicated on Russia Travel Group advertising materials, including this Web–site, as well as those given by employees of Russia Travel Group or its parent company, via telephone, fax, e–mail, or any other means are quoted in US dollars.

Payment

For paying by a credit card, please contact your travel coordinator.

For paying by a wire, please contact your travel coordinator and he will provide you with all banking information.

Force Major

Russia Travel Group shall not be responsible for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances or due to a cause beyond Russia Travel Group’s control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, riot, embargoes and acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities.

Cancellation policy of Russia Travel Group

Cancellation and refund policies are varied by Russia Travel Group, with penalties generally increasing as the departure date approaches. In virtually all cases, there will be a cancellation fee of some size regardless of when you cancel, even if it is within hours of making your deposit.

Hotel accommodations

As for individual hotel accommodations, your reservations may be canceled up to 7 days before arrival for a service charge of 20 percent the cost of the reservation.

Group reservations may be canceled up to 30 days prior to arrival for a service charge of 20 percent the cost of the reservation. Changes to names or departure dates are treated as cancellations and new bookings, and may incur cancellation penalties.

Tours

From 40 days to 20 days before departure you are entitled to tour costs returned minus 300.00 US dollar per person cancellation fee. From 19 to 15 days before departure you are entitled to 50 percent of all tour costs to be returned. From 14 days on before departure you are no longer entitled to any refund on all tour costs. Deposits made for groups of 10 people or more are non – refundable unless otherwise indicated in a separate agreement between Russia Travel Group and the client.

Cruises

Cruise payments will be refunded 50 percent upon cancellation within 2 months (60 days) prior to departure. 60 days or less prior to departure cruise payments are non – refundable.

Special Offers and Last Minute Offers

Payments for special offers and last – minute offers are non – refundable.

Air and Train Tickets

Air and Train Tickets are non – refundable.

Russia Travel Group does not make exceptions regarding cancellation charges, so we strongly recommend that all the clients should secure appropriate cancellation / trip insurance. Payment and cancellation timetables and rates are subject to change, and exceptions may refer to group tours (10 PAX or more); please confirm this with your Russia Travel Group coordinator at time of booking.

Russia Travel Group is able to provide our clients with credit for the total sum they paid for the travel services they booked, minus cancellation fee. This credit will be given only if a request for cancellation is done within the above described frames.

In order to access this policy your cancellation must be made in writing and forwarded to Russia Travel Group.
