Military Russia (Moscow - Volgograd)

Day 1. Moscow
Arrival in Moscow. Meeting with the driver. Transfer to “Ukraina” hotel located in the city center. Accommodation.
7pm - Welcome dinner at the Russian restaurant (folk show).

Day 2. Moscow 

Breakfast at the hotel.
9am- Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Departure to excursion.
Moscow city tour (3 hours). You will see Moscow’s main streets, squares and places of interest: the Tverskaya street the most animated and saucy, the former headquarters of the KGB, the Bolshoi Theatre, Russian White House, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed and other major city sights. Visit to Cathedral of Christ the Savior – the main Cathedral in Moscow.

Second part of excursion:
Excursion to the museum and survey of the unique collection of Armor, collected from twelve countries of the world. Luncheon on the territory of the museum. March on board of a modern Russian battle tank and shooting targets.

Return to Moscow, dinner at the restaurant.

Day 3. Moscow
Breakfast  at the hotel.
9am - Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Departure to excursion.

Kremlin tour with visit to the Armory and Cathedrals. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums, etc. This excursion includes a visit to the Lenin Masoleum.
 
Second part of excursion:

Moscow Metro. You will see the legendary Moscow Metro with its mosaics and frescos.

Excursion to the KGB museum.

Return to the hotel.

Day 4. Moscow   

Breakfast at the hotel.
9am Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Departure to excursion.

Excursion to World War II Museum on Poklonnaya Gora.

Second part of excursion: Museum of Revolutions.
Duration of excursion – 5 hours. Free time for shopping, picture taking.

Return to the hotel.

Day 5. Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby.
Trip to the Cosmonaut Training Center of the Star Town (in the Moscow’s area). Meeting with the top rank officials and instructions. Visit to the airdrome depot of the IL – 76 MDK flying laboratory aircraft. Participation in the aircraft flight with simulation of the zero gravity conditions.

Return to Moscow. Dinner.

Lectures in the Planetarium, virtual space navigation and observation with simulation use of the control panel of the International Space Station and the Soyuz TM spaceship. Getting acquainted in overload Conditions training in the Centrifuge.

Return to the hotel and dinner.
Check-out in the evening. Transfer to the railway station.

Departure for Volgograd

Day 7. Volgograd
5.15pm - Arrival to Volgograd.
Meeting with a guide at the railway station. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the Juzhnaya hotel.
6.30pm - Excursion along memorable sights of the hero-city Volgograd, such as Central Embankment, the Alley of Heroes, memorial park, the Square of Fallen Fighters.
Duration- 3hours (evening tour)

Day 8. Volgograd
Breakfast at the hotel.
9am Meeting with a guide at the hotel lobby. Departure to excursion.
Military-historical excursion acquainting with the history of Stalingrad-Volgograd. Tourists will pass along the street of the World - the first street revived from ruins of the post-war city, visit the House of sergeant Pavlov - one of bastions of soldiers` glory, rise on the main height of Russia - the Mamayev Hill, examine an exposition of the museum-panorama " The Stalingrad Battle" and ruins of Grudinin`s mill, visit the shop of souvenirs "Magic of stone". 
 
Day 9. Volgograd
9am Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the places of fights during the World War II. Tourists will visit a monument of marshal Jykov, a monumental cemetery - the burial place of Russian, German, Austrian and other soldiers, fallen in this area during the war. Duration-3hours.

Check-out at 12.00. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Moscow 6.30 pm

8.55- Arrival in Moscow. Meeting with a guide at the airport. Transfer to the international airport.
