Volcanic Fantasy

Day 1. Petropavlovsk - Kamchatski
After arriving to the Airport, you will be met by our driver (the driver will be holding the sign Russia Travel Group). Transfer by minivan to one of the recreation centre located in a forest zone of Paratunskiye hot springs. Accommodation at the hotel in a double room (breakfast in included). You will be able to enjoy Russian cuisine and hospitality of local cooks in the hotel cafe. There is an open pool with thermal water (t = 23-38°C) on the territory of the hotel where you can bathe as long as you want (using pool is included into cost of a hotel room). Here you can specify and discuss each point of the program of your residence in Kamchatka.

Day 2. Kozyrevsk
8.30 am Breakfast.
We leave the city for Kozyrevsk with a stop in Milkovo for a dinner (visiting of a museum is possible). On a way you will see, what diverse relief Kamchatka peninsula has: mountains with passes are replaced by flat woodlands. In the evening there is a stop for overnight on the bank of the longest river which has the same name with our peninsula - Kamchatka.

Day 3. Tolbachik Volcano
8.30 am Breakfast.
Departure to Tolbachik Volcano is planned. Then we encamp at a seismic station Lunohodchik (1200 m). The guides will tell to you about Tolbachik volcanic range and about well-known Big Cleft Tolbachinsky Eruption. You will see a number of small cones formed as a result of this eruption.

Day 4. Big Cleft Tolbachinsky Eruption cones
8.30 am Breakfast.
Excursion on Big Cleft Tolbachinsky Eruption cones: climbing on the last fading cone (1500 m). In 1974 during this eruption the forest within the distance of 15 km was covered with 10 meter layer of slag.

Day 5. Trekking
8.30 am Breakfast.
Trekking from our camp till the place of the next stop near Talud pass.

Day 6. Ovalnaya (Oval) Zimena volcano
8.30 am Breakfast.
Trekking to the foot of Ovalnaya (Oval) Zimena volcano.

Day 7. Bezymyanny Volcano
8.30 am Breakfast.
Trekking to the camp located at the foot of the active Bezymyanny Volcano (1300 m). Excursion: Polennitsa Hill, a panorama of 6 volcanoes in case of fine weather.

Day 8. Bezymyanny Volcano
8.30 am Breakfast.
Climbing on Bezymyanny Volcano (3300 m).

Day 9. Bezymyanny Volcano – Kopyto (Hoof) Hill
8.30 am Breakfast.
Passage Bezymyanny Volcano – Kopyto (Hoof) Hill.

Day 10. Extra day in case of bad weather
It is reserved in the program as one spare day in case of bad weather. At desire of the group driving to the Esso and overnight in hotell is possible.

Day 11. Paratunka
Driving back to the hotel in Paratunka.

Day 12. Petropavlovsk - Kamchatski
We invite you to make a fascinating sightseeing tour around Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. During this time you will see historical monuments of the city, which is already more than 260 years old. You’ll be told about such famous navigators, as Vitus Bering, Fransua de la Perouse, Charles Clerk, who visited Avacha Bay. From the sightseeing area located on a Petrovskaya Hill, you’ll be able to observe a fine view of Avacha Bay and the historical centre of Petropavlovsk. Having visited an exhibition of local lore museum you will learn a lot about the nature of Kamchatka, the life of indigenous peoples of peninsula and history of its development.
You visit our fish market and souvenir's shop.

Day 13. The Valley of Geysers (optional)
It is reserved in the program as one spare day in case of bad weather. If you desire, we organize a helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers provided good weather (it is paid separately).

Day 14. Petropavlovsk - Kamchatski
8:00 am Wake-up call.
8.30 am Breakfast.

Check - out.
Transfer to the international airport. Departure.

- 3 meals a day during the rout and breakfast in hotel;
