One Day Moscow Jewish Tour (New)

Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow Day 1. Moscow

10.00am Meeting with a guide and driver at the hotel lobby. Departure to the excursion.

We will start the tour from the visit of the famous Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center where you will know that in the Torah it is said that the world was created in 3761 BCE. Also you will see the exposition saying about the change in the situation with the USSR from Perestroika to the Present Day.

Second part of excursion:

You will visit the Choral Synagogue on Arkhipova Street (Spasoglinischevsky pereylok), which dates back to 1891. In Soviet times, on important holidays, Jews gathered in front of the building to express their identity. Today the synagogue is the focus of Jewish religious life in the capital. Museum of Jewish History

Third part of excursion:

You will visit the first private Jewish History Museum in Moscow. The museum's collection covers more than 200 years of the history of Jewish life in Russia from the late 18th century through to the late-Soviet period.
The museum's collection totals over 4,000 exhibits, most of which were redeemed from private collectors. The first part of it rediscovers the Jewish identity through traditions, culture, beliefs and the way Jewish communities in Russia used to live. The second part of the collection digs into the social issues. It considers the Jewish community within a historical context, exploring the professions and crafts of the Jews, and their relations with the government. A significant number of exhibits tell the stories of the USSR's Jewish community.

Final part of excursion:
